- Use a jug or a bottle that has markings to keep track of water intake for the day
- Add flavour to water using fruits and vegetables such as lemon, cucumber or mint leaves, to encourage them to drink more
- Go for water-rich foods such as soup, stew and porridge (choose low sodium options to prevent dehydration)
- Introduce liquids as part of meals, such as serving juice during breakfast, and soups as sides for lunch and dinner
